What a great walk this is. After an unpromising start outside Uxbridge Tube Station, you are soon walking a canal bank. It's not too long before the houses are left behind. We made a big mistake stopping at the Horse and Barge, and should have held out to the halfway point for the Carp Inn.
After a short road stretch it is back to the woods and fields with just one more short stretch on a dangerous country road. About 9.5 miles in total, return from Moor Park Tube. For walk details, see London Loop section 12 and 13.
